Ted Bundy The Most Notorious Criminals Of The 20th Century
Ted Bundy Ted Bundy is considered as one of the Americaââ¬â¢s most notorious criminals of the 20th century. He confessed to around 28 murders, but thought to be responsible for hundreds of deaths. He escaped custody killing at least three people, two college students and a twelve year old, before he was caught again and executed. While Ted Bundy is known for his charm, and many people believe he is a striking and intelligent man, he has a very troubled past; Bundy is remembered as a notorious serial killer who raped and mutilated his victims across various states (John Philip). Ted Bundy was born as Theodore Robert Cowell on November 24 in 1946 to Louise Cowell at Elizabeth Lund Home for Unwed Mothers in Vermont. She was residing there three months before he was delivered. Ted never knew his biological father who was an Air Force Veteran. In order to protect Louise from the criticism and prejudice of being an unwed mother the two of them moved back to her parentsââ¬â¢ house, where he was brought up to believe that his grandparents were his parents and his mother is his sister. Once Ted was four, he and his mother moved in with relatives in Tacoma, Washington.
